Antonio Palleschi received his doctor’s degree cum laude in Chemistry at the University of Rome La Sapienza. For six years he worked as a Researcher at the same University and, later, he joined the faculty of University of Basilicata as Associate Professor of Physical Chemistry. At the present he is Professor of Physical Chemistry at the University of Roma Tor Vergata.
The research interests of Prof. Palleschi concern the physical chemistry of biological systems. By using computational chemistry methods, he is studying the molecular structure and the dynamical properties of bioactive molecules, not only in solution, but also in membrane phase and on solid surfaces.
